John Kitchen Organs
Neil Richerby Organ builder

Oldhamstocks is one of East Lothian’s least known but prettiest villages, with a lovely old church and a distinguished organ builder. Neil Richerby’s workshop is near the church, so we’ll visit it in the company of organist and baroque music scholar John Kitchen.

He and Neil will introduce the art of the organ builder, with appropriate music, and then lead us to the church for a short recital on two more of Neil’s superbly crafted chamber organs.

As space at Lammermuir Pipe Organs is limited to a maximum of 50, workshop tours will take place before and after the church recital to accommodate everyone.

Workshop 1.30pm
Recital 2.30pm
Workshop 3.45pm

Tickets will indicate which session has been allocated.

Please note, a road/track climbs steeply from church to workshop
