Hailes Castle is in the most beautiful secret location, and we have always wanted to perform a live concert there. The problem is that it is totally inaccessible to an audience and so we have installed Tim Beattie by candlelight in the chamber at the heart of the castle to perform a programme by Spanish, Cuban and Swiss composers which brings the atmosphere of this special place alive. Tim is one of the most exciting young guitarists around with many prizes in international competitions. The combination of youthful virtuosity with a historic setting is really irresistible.
