For the second of the Heath Quartet’s concerts we make our first visit to Tranent’s lovely 18th Century church.

Haydn’s delightfully sunny quartet balances perfectly with the extraordinary journey that is Beethoven’s C sharp minor quartet, covering the whole gamut of emotions, from the depths of sorrow to the heights of exultation.
