Mozart’s E flat Divertimento is one of the finest of all string trios, comparable to his greatest quartets and described by Mozart scholar Alfred Einstein as “one of his noblest works”.

After Schubert’s little one movement trio, a brief encounter with the tantalisingly enigmatic music of the great Hungarian composer György Kurtág.
