William Burn, pioneer of the Scottish Baronial style, designed many fine buildings in Scotland including St John the Evangelist in Edinburgh's Princes Street.

His splendid little church (1829), Stenton Parish Church, in the tranquil village of Stenton brings St John's to mind with its impressive square tower. Beautifully simple inside, its acoustic is ideal for chamber music.

There is free on-street car parking in the village.

We can cone off two spaces for blue badge holders outside the gate. Please email [email protected] to book a space, subject to availability, first come first served.

UPDATE: These spaces are now taken. There is still free on-street car parking on the main street through the village and a small car park to the side of the church
